Know a great sophomore student who could benefit from a fully funded Rotary leadership weekend?   Due to school vacations and snow storm we have extended our deadline.  This is open to ANY 10th grade student in 

Newton.   

Nominate an Outstanding Newton Sophomore for a Fully Funded Leadership Conference!

The Rotary Club of Newton is thrilled to invite nominations and/or applications for exceptional high school sophomores to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) this summer, June 26th–28, 2026 at Fitchburg State University.

RYLA is a high-energy leadership conference designed to help students grow their confidence, strengthen their leadership skills, and connect with other motivated peers from across the region. It’s an incredible opportunity for rising sophomores who are ready to step into their potential, are community minded and want to make a difference.

The Rotary Club of Newton will fully sponsor six outstanding students, covering all costs of attendance. Two options - have the student fill the application (below ) or nominate a student and we will work with them to get their application in.
