President Justin Sallaway called the meeting to order. Dick Bowen led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Susanne McInerney led us in song with a rousing rendition of "God Bless America".

RAFFLE: Paul Kerrissey sold tickets like a pro.

Gia Nicolazzo (Student of the Month) won the raffle, but was not able to pick the Ace of Spades.

Paul Kerrissey announced that his daughter, Mikaela has been accepted into the PhD program in Public Health at Harvard, and will be around in the area for 5 years much to Paul's delight!

Midnight on Sunday was the final date for submitting acts for Newton Has Talent. There were 37 entrants into this contest. GREAT JOB EVERYONE! If anyone wants to go to Chris's house to look at the videos, they will be going through them on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Let Chris know if you are interested in helping.

Student of the Month, Gia Nicolazzo was introduced by Sarah Malone, a teacher at Newton Country Day School. Gia has gone above and beyond as a student, and is extremely dedicated to serving the Newton Community.

David Sellers introduced Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, who discussed life as the sheriff.
