This community event will support our Youth Scholarships and Newton Rotary Foundation via the payment link provided. All dates are Saturday mornings from 9 am – noon. Volunteers required from 8:30 to noon. What is Helpsy? As a certified B Corp and Public Benefit Corporation, Helpsy's mission is to keep clothing out of the trash, provide honorable work, and earn growing profits. Helpsy collects, sorts, and trades secondhand clothes and shoes. In 2024 alone, the Helpsy team collected over 32 million pounds of clothes, shoes, and other items. The impact of their efforts speaks volumes: Counting only the clothes our customers sell at retail, we saved over 4 billion gallons of water and over 600 million pounds of CO2 emissions from new clothing creation. Paid more than $500,000 to charities and municipalities for bin placements, clothing drives, purchased materials, and as donations. Saved municipalities more than $1.6 million in waste disposal tipping fees. What can be collected? Almost anything but check here for approved items.
