Rabbi Susan Abramson\, a native of Newton\, is the longest-serving fema le rabbi in New England\, having served as the rabbi of Temple Shalom Eme th since 1984. She is a graduate of Newton High\, Brandeis University and Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion where she was ordained and received a Doctor of Divinity. She is the author of the Rabbi Rocket power series of children's books about Jewish holidays and Challah: A Che wish Guide to the Torah. She is the chair of the Burlington Interfaith Cl ergy Council. In 2016 she launched her YouTube channel Spiritually Speaki ng\, with a series of 13 videos about the faiths and cultures in Burlingt on and beyond to promote understanding and appreciation between people of different faiths. She has also created music videos on a wide variety of topics.
